What a great early birthday present this was?!?!

Everyone has heard of Ferrara Pan Candy I’m sure. They make the LemonHeads, and Fireballs and all that yummy goodness! Right?

We had bought a bag of a mix at Smith’s a couple weeks ago, and a lot of the boxes only had 3 candies in it, when others had like 10-15 in it. It was a disappointment, but not as much as the fact that it only had 2 boxes of LEMONHEADS!!! Dave stole both of them! Grrrr Just kidding. He gave me like 2 candies out of one of hte boxes but still. MEAN! They are both of our favorites. In the bag it had like CherryHeads, and GrapeHeads and AppleHeads and RedHots and FireBalls, and Chewy Lemonheads. It was a Halloween Mix.

Well I wrote the company one nite, cause I was bored, and just thought I’d let them know what a bummer it was that we only got 2 boxes of lemonheads. (they’re tiny boxes! Not the 25 Cent ones you get @ the gas station). They wrote back, not really apologizing, just saying that, that’s how the machines do it, and they don’t really measure and such. I just shrugged it off, didn’t respond to their email, figured ehhh whatever, No biggie.

This morning, I was expecting my replacement blackberry to come UPS, so when a knock was at the door, while we were eating breakfast I wasn’t surprised. But when I opened the door, I was surprised to see 2 boxes! One was my phone, and the other was this big box! It’s my birthday week, so I figured, that Dave ordered something for me, or his mom forgot she already gave me my birthday present and was sending me another one! (I love her presents, she’s so awesomely creative–Monkey farts candle for Christmas last year!).

Bai and I opened the box, and there were these huge 4 boxes of 24 boxes of candy. Ahhh what a day! Now if I can nail my interview tomorrow, this week will have been perfect.

I LOVE American Idol. I’ve watched almost every season, and definitely have my favorites, and people I totally dislike.

It was just announced that Ellen Degeneres will be the new judge. I do like Ellen, but not sure if having her as the new judge will be good, but she’ll definitely add some humor to the show. I heard a joke on TV last nite that said, now Ellen and Ryan Seacrest now host 40% of American television. LOL (I think it was Jimmy Kimmel).

Also…Danny Gokey got a record deal! I’m excited for that to come out around March I think it said. I liked him. Most of the time. I hope his album is good, and mostly what he wants to do and not the record company.

AND what I am most excited about… CARRIE UNDERWOOD!!! NEW CD NOVEMBER 3rd!!! I just heard the first single, “Cowboy Cassanova” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd5UeL6wEmI It doesn’t allow embedding otherwise I’d just put it up right here. Oh I love her music. She’s definitely my favorite Idol ever. Yes, even above Kelly, although I do love her too.

UGHH…

So once a month or so, I get like 5 notifications from Myspace, that some spammer added me as a friend. For a few months, I just let them go, and then will log on every 3 months or so.

I still have my account in hopes that an old friend Lisa, will see my add request to her, and my suggestion to join Facebook instead. Chances are, she’s just as into myspace as I am. I really miss her, and would really love to connect with her ASAP!

Any who, moving on to the reason of my post…

Every time I log on there, I get this deep sinking feeling in my gut. I get super depressed, want to lay down and cry and scream etc…

Man, myspace used to be a big part of my life. Wow, that makes me sound like a loser! Well, back in the day (2005) it was all the rage, and was sooo cool.

I’m thinking I’ll just have to go into my account and delete it for good (since all my friends on there are on facebook anyways) and then i’ll never have that depressing feeling again! But i’m really curious as to why I feel that way!

Okay, so I have a twitter, don’t do much with it…
Dave follows me, and gets notifications when I “tweet” and then will make comments about it, so I don’t like to do it too much.

Anyways-whats the big idea? I still don’t understand it. I think I might not let Dave see my “tweets” or something, I dunno, and then use it as my venting stool.

Can’t Decide. Oh well, if you use twitter-mine is Aimee81…

I’m tired of all the spammers that are following me. I can’t kick them off fast enough!!! grrr

This is at the lake that is right by my house…walking distance from my house!

It is so beautiful here. Sure theres a highway half a mile to my east, and this beautiful lake half a mile to my west. But that means I have the best of both worlds!

Things are so much better up here since moving. SOOO much better.

Lets see how many we can count in a minute or two (depending on my typing speed):

1-A/C
2-Newer place
3-Closet doors (seriously…)
4-Garage
5-Nice, non-backstabbing neighbors
6-No landlord that’ll just randomly show up unannounced with kids that break your stuff
7-Neighborhood get-togethers. (I’m loving this!)
8-Gas station close by, to fill my up on my cokes! LOL
9-Seperate laundry room. Its not stuck in my bathroom, and its HUGE!
10-No yard work or snow shoveling! HOA takes care of that
11-I don’t have to worry about the basement flooding!!! Even though I still get super scared when water runs, thinking there’s gonna be a huge problem. After living in our last place, I think I’ll always have that problem. DANG IT!
12-Upstairs and downstairs-so the upstairs never gets seen, and I don’t have to keep it near as spotless…even though, since its a nicer place, we keep this place nicer. Its great.

Basically I think we’re both just happier, and I’m even doing dishes, and there’s been a lot less fights (about stupid things) we’re cookign together, we’re doing dishes together etc… Its really been a change for the better.

Its really nice also that Dave’s commute was cut in third for him. Its so nice to have him home before 7 EVERY NITE! Sometimes before 6, and sometimes before 5!!! I LOVE IT!

I’m still working on getting unpacked and such, and felt that I needed to do all that before I jump back into blogging, but we’ve done excellent and Bailey’s napping, so its okay

Well, I’m still not much for words these days.

I have been super busy. I do have a few words, and a few pictures.

I think I’ll do them now.

I’ll have to keep searching for pictures of the front yard before all of this crap, but this is after we worked hard on the back yard to make it a good play area for the kids and their friends and what not. It was so green, and we could even walk barefoot back there!!! Oh I love the Mountains in the background! This was taken end of May I believe.


The Day he Trenched-Mid June. Its been 4 weeks today since he did this.

YES, that is a huge pole sticking up out of the ground all ridiculous like. GRRRR

Well…We haven’t got any!

We’ve looked high and low for a place. I swear I’ve spent the same amount of hours looking as Dave has spent working! Luckily he’s stopped at places on the way home from work. Everywhere is so expensive! Well I guess its not that its expensive, its just that its nicer, and we’ve been paying cheap rent, for an awful place. Well I guess its not THAT awful, but it really could be a LOT better.

I just took pictures of my yard…they dug it up a month ago to put sprinklers in, and haven’t done anything since. As I was taking pictures, I remembered I had taken pictures, a few days before they dug it up, to show how hard Dave and I had worked on making the yard REALLLLY nice. We were evening paying a neighborhood kid to mow it! He even weedeated the yard. I feel bad, cause now we aren’t paying him to do it, so he’s losing out on that money, but…oh well.

So, I’m thinking that we’ll find a place soon. In fact, we did find a place, out by Daybreak (West JOrdan, new nice area-google it, if you don’t know) we just need to pass the application process. Grrrr.

We’d stay in this place if only a few things were different. The main one if it were closer to work. Poor Dave spends over an hour in the car just driving too and from work, and its worse in the Winter, and most days he comes home just tired from being in the car, and I feel bad. How nice would it be to live 15 minutes from work again? Thats how it’d be if we lived in Daybreak.

Oh well. So, I think I’ll be making a post of before and after pictures of my yard, in the near future here…I just need to get it off my camera…Maybe in a few minutes…we’ll see! LOL
