New Car :) July 6, 2009

Our car was approaching 100,000 miles, and the husband was tired of driving it 80 miles a day or more. Dodge dealership was having some deals, so we went in there just to see. We cleaned out our car just in case, but weren’t expecting anything…well we came home with this! 2009 Dodge Calibur SXT. Its a sweet car. What we like in it, is its better gas mileage, little cooler set up in the glove compartment for pop bottles, rechargeable flashlight in the trunk, and AUX plug for our zunes, so we don’t have to use an FM transmitter anymore! WOOT!!!

It had about 1,000 miles on it when we got it, but we’ve been driving all over looking for…..HOUSES!!!! Yeah we need to move, but I think thats another post in itself. I’m not gonna make a promise on a post, becuase I never follow thru, sorry about that…I know I need to do better, but I’m a little stressed out about some things going on at home!!!!

Michael Jackson June 27, 2009

Yesterday Michael Jackson died. Its still a bit unreal to even believe (to me at least). Its kind of weird to hear about celebrities dying that I grew up knowing about. Guess that means its a sign of getting older. (I know 27 isn’t THAT old).

He was a great musician until things distracted him from that, which is highly unfortunate, but thats how life goes sometimes I suppose. He had many issues, which comes with being a celebrity I believe. I wish our world wasn’t so into what everybody else does.

Rockin’ Robin by the Jackson 5 is Bailey (my 2 yr olds favorite). I love seeing her face light up when I sing it to her…and I know its not my voice! LOL

…Its hard to keep up this idea that I have a positive attitude about everything, when I really don’t.

I’m Bummed… May 9, 2009

I’m really bummed…

My problems with people seem to be never ending apparantly. I trust people. I can’t say no. GRRR. So the little girls I was babysitting (because I couldn’t say NO), well they totally skipped out on paying me. Its been a whole week now. I’m not afraid to take the one family to court since its 200 bucks they owe me, but I am afraid because of the father’s past. Basically I’ve lived and learned from people, and now I know I can’t even trust people in my own neighborhood. I’m SOOO bummed. I really could use the money for a massage/haircut or something to make me feel better about myself! I’ve been so drained recently, and that would help me feel better.

I’m just glad I’m not babysitting anymore.

I had the courage to call the lady that kept calling me to babysit this little girl…she TRIED to assure me that this lady wouldn’t just skip out on not paying me. She was her boss. Well…its really hard to tell someone that you don’t know everything about people. REALLY hard. I got screwed hard, and I took care of htat little girl, just like she were my own. I just want to be paid!

Don’t you think that when you use a service such as: babysitting, lawnmowing, etc… you just pay for it. Its totally apparant that it got done, so why argue it? Seriously. 20 dollars a day adds up. and it adds up FAST.

NO! April 28, 2009

Look, I can type it, but I can’t say it. Someone asks me to do something, and I can’t say NO. In fact sometimes I volunteer myself! What the heck?!?! Why can’t I just stop this madness. I just complain about it later on. I don’t want to do things, so I why do I say ok?!?! I need to learn how to say NO, and I need to learn how to say it QUICK, before I burn out. yeah.

This whole thing that people think that I babysit, has got to STOP. I do NOT babysit! I’m 27 years old, I’m not a babysitter!!!!

Okay, so for some reason, i’m still saying yes to babysitting ALL the friggin’ time.

Had to wake up at 6 to babysit two little girls today. Both of whom are 2 years old. So, yes that means THREE, 2 yr olds in my home today. And if our downstairs neighbor comes to play, that’d make FOUR!

Well, I had my alarm set for 5:45, on my Blackberry. Dave has an old regular digital alarm clock that I think he’s had since high school or longer. I guess I was dreaming about hte song, that is my alarm ringtone or something, cause I shot out of bed, thinking it was going off, looked at my phone, fiddled around…then looked at the clock, and it said 5:55. Or so I thought. It actually said 2:22, but I didn’t realize this, until after I’d gone to the bathroom, and put a throat lozenge in my mouth. GRRRR.

I hate mornings, and I hate getting the time wrong. It always happens to me. Now I’m exhausted for the day, and all three of these 2 year old girls are eating breakfast…yay me.

I just closed my eyes and drifted away for a minute or two. I LOVE LOVE LOVE piano music. If a song has pinao in it, I’m so listening to it. Love these two songs though. This guy…has even played my piano a LONG time ago too!

Dear Rude Truck Driver,

I have child, I babysit child…It was only 9 AM, and yes some people sleep past then surprisingly enough. You came barreling thru my driveway sooo fast you woke the kids up! One is still snuggling next to me trying to recover. How about you knock it off driving thru peoples driveways so fast? What if there was a kid there? Would you even feel bad? Don’t do it again, or it’ll really piss me off and you’ll never hear the end of it, and will never want to face me again.

SEriously, our drive way is a piece of crap! Its uneven, and hte landlords won’t fix it, or fix anything on the house really. When you drive over it bangs and makes loud noises and all this stupid stuff. I understand when you need to make a U-turn so you pull in someones driveway and then you back out, but totally going in their front yard in their U-shaped driveway and going around the whole thing? Come on!!! Thats like stopping by for a visit? I thought someone was stopping by! It was sooo loud, and he was going sooo fast, I didn’t even have time to get up and go shake my fist at him.
